Indiana Summer

Summer in Indiana. When the parched, dried ground burns beneath your feet, and it seems there is as much heat rising from the ground as falling from the boiling sun. The sky, although cloudless, allows only a glimpse of pure blue high in the sky, the lower altitudes obscured in grey humidity. We can hardly wait for it in January, and we rejoice in its passing in October.
